Step 1: pick 4 or 5 content pillars
Pillars are the few types of post you rotate. They stop your page from being all adverts or all random. Most small businesses do well with these five:
- Teach: tips your customers find useful. 'How to keep your wig fresh for 3 months.'
- Show: products, new stock, menus, services, with prices.
- Prove: real customer results and feedback, shared with permission.
- Behind the scenes: how you make, pack, cook, sew or deliver.
- Sell: offers with a deadline and a clear way to buy.
Step 2: a weekly template to repeat
Give each day a job. You can copy this and adjust it to your business:
- Monday: Teach. A tip or a 'did you know'.
- Tuesday: Show. A product or service with the price.
- Wednesday: Behind the scenes. A short clip of the work.
- Thursday: Prove. A customer story or before and after.
- Friday: Sell. The weekend offer, with an end time.
- Saturday: Fun. A trend, a poll, a question, something light.
- Sunday: Community. A thank you, a prayer, next week's teaser.
Step 3: how to plan a month of content around the Nigerian calendar
Now lay your four weeks on a calendar and mark the dates that change what people buy. The first day of the month is for 'Happy new month' posts. The last week of the month, when many salaries land, is good for bigger offers. Then add the public holidays and seasons that touch your customers: New Year and resumption in January, Valentine's in February, Easter and both Sallahs when they fall, Children's Day in May, Democracy Day in June, Independence Day in October, Black Friday in late November, and Detty December and Christmas at the end of the year.
Swap a normal day's post for the occasion post, and plan the offer a week ahead so you have time to make it.
Step 4: batch-make the posts
Set aside one or two sessions a week to make everything for the next week. Write all the captions at once, make all the flyers at once, shoot all the product photos at once. Switching tasks less means finishing faster.
Repurpose: one good flyer can become a Status clip with Photo to video, a Square post for Instagram and a broadcast message. One video can be cut into two shorter ones in the editor.
Let Kreyta write the month for you
Kreyta's 30 days of posts tool is free. Describe your business, and it writes a 30 day calendar with an idea, a format (video, reel, flyer or carousel), a hook, a caption and hashtags for every day, aware of Nigerian holidays. Captions can be in English, or in Pidgin and English. Each day has a 'Create this' button that opens the right tool with the brief filled in, so making the post is one tap away. The plan is free; each post you make is priced as normal.

Questions and answers
How many posts do I need in a month?
One good post a day on your main platform is a strong target. If that is too much, three a week posted consistently beats thirty posts in one week and silence after.
Is the 30 days of posts tool really free?
Yes. The plan is free. When you tap 'Create this' on a day, that tool shows its normal price before anything is made.
Can the plan include Pidgin captions?
Yes. Choose Pidgin and English for the captions in your plan.
What if something happens mid-month?
Move days around. A plan is a guide, not a cage. Keep one free slot a week for news, trends or a surprise offer.
Can I plan just one week?
Yes. The My week of content Playbook makes a 7 day plan with a picture for each day and a short clip.
