What the caption and hashtag generator writes
Tick what you need. Captions and hashtags are on by default, written for TikTok, Instagram and WhatsApp Status. Add Facebook, X or LinkedIn and the tone changes to suit each one: chatty on TikTok, a little more polished on LinkedIn.
- Captions for each platform you choose
- Hashtags that describe the post, not random popular tags
- Hook lines: openers for a video or the first line of a caption
- WhatsApp broadcast: a message to send your customer list
- SMS: short enough to fit a text message
- Translations into the other languages you pick
Captions that sell, not just describe
A caption that says 'New stock available' is a missed chance. Give the generator the real details and it will write something people act on. Instead of 'cake for sale', type 'red velvet cakes, 8 inch, N25,000, order 2 days ahead, delivery within Enugu, for birthdays and anniversaries'.
The first line matters most, because platforms cut the caption after a line or two. Lead with the benefit or the question, and put the price and how to order before the cut. End with one clear action: 'Send a DM with your date', 'Tap the link in bio', 'Reply YES on WhatsApp'.
Three caption shapes worth keeping
When you edit what the generator gives you, it helps to know the shapes that work. Most strong captions follow one of these three, and you can ask for a specific one in your description, for example 'write it as a question caption'.
- Problem and fix: 'Tired of wigs that tangle after one wash? Our bone straight units stay soft for months. N85,000, delivered in Lagos.'
- Question: 'Which colour are you picking for the owambe, gold or emerald? Both in stock, sizes 8 to 18.'
- Proof: 'Third restock this month. Here is why customers in Kano keep coming back.' Use real numbers only.
English, Pidgin or both
Pidgin captions often feel warmer and get more replies from a Nigerian audience, while English reads more formal. Many brands use both: English on LinkedIn and Facebook, Pidgin on TikTok and Status. Choose English and Pidgin together and you get both versions side by side. You can also add Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, French and more. Have a native speaker look over Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa before you post.
