What a good shop flyer design does
A retail flyer has one job: make someone walk in or send 'I want this one'. That means one clear headline, real products, real prices and where to find you. Customers in Nigeria buy from shops they trust, so show the actual shop name, the street and a landmark everyone knows.
Good headlines for shops are plain and specific: 'New stock just landed', 'Weekend price drop', 'Back to school bundle', 'Buy 2, get 1 free', 'We deliver within Ikeja'. Pick Bold style for promos and Minimal for premium products.
Product photos that look like a real store
Snap the product on your counter with your phone. Product photos removes the background for a clean cutout, or puts it in a scene like a clean white studio or luxury marble, with 2 to 4 variations each time. You can do several products at once. Use them in your WhatsApp Business catalogue, on Instagram, or on marketplaces where white backgrounds look tidy.
Your product stays as it is in your photo. That matters: customers must receive what they saw.
One price card per item, in one go
Got thirty items to post? Bulk flyers takes one design and your list, then stamps each product name and price onto its own card. Same look, every price exactly as you typed it. Post them as a Status series, one after another, or print them for shelves.
Prices change often, so keep your list in a simple spreadsheet. When prices move, update the list and make a fresh set.
Retail moments to plan for
- New month: a 'this month's deals' flyer on the first day, when salaries land.
- Back to school: bags, shoes, stationery and uniforms bundles in January and September.
- Black Friday in late November: a short, honest sale with a clear end date.
- Detty December and Christmas: gift ideas, hampers and extended opening hours.
- Opening a new branch: the Open my shop Playbook makes the opening flyer, a voice ad and a WhatsApp broadcast together.

Questions and answers
Can I make price cards for my whole shop?
Yes. Bulk flyers stamps each item and price from your list onto one design, so you get a matching set.
Will my product look different in the photos?
Product photos keeps your product as it is in your photo and changes the background or scene around it. Always check the result before you post.
Can I print the flyers for my shop?
Yes. Flyers come in A5 and A4 print sizes as well as Square, Portrait and Story / Status for WhatsApp.
Is it good for a small shop?
That is who it is for. You do not need a designer or a big budget, just your phone and your prices.
How much does it cost?
New accounts get 3 free credits once, and captions are free. One credit is about N1,500 on the cheapest pack, paid in naira. See the pricing page for plans.
How often should a shop post on Status?
Every day if you can, a few items at a time. Mix new stock, prices, customer pickups (with permission) and one offer. Consistency matters more than volume.
