For you

Song promotion for artists who do everything themselves

You wrote the song, recorded it and paid for the mix. Now you need cover art, a poster, a teaser and captions, and the budget is gone. Kreyta makes song promotion simple for independent artists and producers. The New song release Playbook takes your title, your name, the sound and the release day, and gives you square cover art, a release poster, a short teaser clip and captions for Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp Status.

What the New song release Playbook makes

Answer four questions: the song title, the artist name, the sound (Afrobeats, Amapiano, Gospel, Highlife, Hip hop or R&B) and, if you have it, the release day. One price shows before anything is made. Then Kreyta builds the pack.

  • Square cover art in an artistic style, with no words on it, so you can add your own type
  • A release poster with the title, your name and 'Out' date
  • A 10 second teaser: your cover art moving to a slow, moody camera move. Add your song to it in Kreyta Editor
  • Release captions with hashtags for Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp Status

A simple song promotion plan for release week

A song dropped with no warm up usually disappears. Give people a reason to wait for it. About two weeks before release, post the cover art and the date. A week before, post the teaser clip with 10 seconds of the hook. Ask friends and your street team to repost to their Status. On release day, post the poster with the streaming link, then go live or post a short video of you reacting to the first plays.

After release, keep the song alive for at least two weeks. Post a lyric line as text, a behind the scenes photo from the studio, a fan who sang it back, a short clip of the chorus. Most songs grow slowly through repeats, not one big post.

  • Two weeks out: cover art and date
  • One week out: teaser with the hook
  • Release day: poster, link, a personal video
  • Two weeks after: lyric posts, studio moments, fan reposts

Cover art that works on a phone

Your cover will mostly be seen as a small square on a streaming app. Bold shapes and strong colour read at that size; fine detail and small text do not. Keep it simple, high contrast and recognisable. Many distributors reject covers with web addresses, social handles or blurry images, so keep those off the art and put them in your captions instead.

Kreyta's cover art has no words on it on purpose. Add your title in a clean font yourself, or leave it off; plenty of strong covers have none.

Music tools for producers and church musicians

Kreyta's music tool makes jingles, background beds, intros and outros in Afrobeats, Amapiano, Highlife, Gospel and Praise, Hip-hop and more. Producers use it for quick client jingles and podcast intros. Church musicians use it for anniversary intros and background music for announcements. It never copies real artists or existing songs, and anything you add, like lyrics and names, should be your own.

Questions and answers

Will Kreyta make my actual song?

The Playbook makes the promotion around your song: cover art, poster, teaser and captions. Kreyta's music tool can make jingles and short songs, but it never copies real artists or existing songs.

Can I put my own song on the teaser?

Yes. The teaser is silent. Add your track to it in Kreyta Editor and set where the hook starts.

Does the cover art have text?

No, it is made without words so it reads well at small sizes. Add your title yourself if you want it.

How much does the release pack cost?

The Playbook shows one price before anything is made. 1 credit is about N1,500 on the cheapest pack, and new accounts get 3 free credits once. See the pricing page for plans.

Can I use it for a gospel release?

Yes. Pick Gospel as the sound. The captions and art follow the feel you choose.
