Tool

Turn a photo to video in a few taps

A still photo gets a glance. The same photo moving gets a second look. Kreyta's photo to video tool takes any picture, one you upload or one you made in Kreyta, and turns it into a 5 or 10 second clip with your photo as the very first frame. Describe the movement you want, like 'steam rising from the jollof, slow push in', and post it to Status, Reels or TikTok.

How photo to video works

You give Kreyta a picture and a line about the motion. It keeps your picture as the starting frame and brings it to life from there: a slow camera move, hair in the breeze, waves on a beach, light moving across a product, a sign flickering on at dusk.

Pick 5 seconds for a quick loop on Status, or 10 seconds when the movement needs time, like a slow walk or a camera moving around a room. The clip is silent, so you can add your own music or voiceover in Kreyta Editor, or add a sound inside TikTok or Instagram when you post.

Describing the movement

Say what moves and how the camera behaves. Keep it to one or two actions; asking for a dance, a camera spin and fireworks in 5 seconds gives messy results. Gentle, natural movement looks the most real.

  • Food: 'steam rising, a slow push in'
  • Shop: 'the lights flicker on at dusk, people walk past'
  • Fashion: 'she turns to the camera and smiles, fabric moving in the breeze'
  • Property: 'a slow camera move from the gate to the front door'
  • Flyer: 'light sweeps across it, every word stays still and readable'

Great photos to animate

Product photos are the obvious start. Make a clean shot in Product photos, then animate it so the light glides over the bottle. Flyers are next: a sale flyer with a soft sparkle stands out on Status, and the words stay readable if you ask for them to stay still.

Portraits work well for birthdays, graduations and remembrance posts, with gentle movement like a smile or hair in the wind. Old family photos can feel special with a slow push in. Only animate photos of people who are happy for you to do so.

Getting a clean result

Start with a sharp, well lit photo. Blurry or dark pictures stay blurry and dark when they move. Vertical photos suit Status and Reels. Avoid tiny text in the photo if you want big movement, since moving text can wobble. When text must stay perfect, keep the motion around it, not on it.
