What makes this AI voiceover generator different
Each Nigerian language has four voices: a warm woman, an authoritative man, an energetic woman and an energetic man. Play the sample before you choose. A warm voice suits a pharmacy, a school or a church announcement. An authoritative voice suits real estate, finance and news style updates. The energetic voices are for sales, events and anything with 'this weekend only' in it.
Kreyta also reads English and other languages such as French, Swahili and Arabic. Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa are marked Beta: the voices are good, but always have a native speaker read the script before you publish, because a single tone mark can change a word's meaning.
Tools inside the script editor
A voiceover is only as good as its script, so the editor gives you simple controls that change how it is read.
- Write it for me (free): give the idea and a length of 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 seconds
- A slash / adds a short pause, two slashes // add a long pause
- Put words between stars, like *free delivery*, to stress them
- Pronunciations: tell it 'Lekki = LEK-kee' once and save it to your brand for every voiceover
- Translate my script (free): turn English into Pidgin, Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa, read it and edit before anything is voiced
- Speed: slow, normal or fast
How to write a script that sounds natural
Write for the ear, not the eye. Short sentences. One idea each. Read it out loud once before you make it: if you run out of breath, the sentence is too long. Say numbers the way people say them. 'Two thousand five hundred naira' reads better than N2,500 in some voices, and it stops the price being misread.
About 900 characters of script is one minute of speech, and a 30 second ad is roughly 70 to 80 words. Put your business name early and again at the end. Finish with one clear action, like a phone number said slowly, or 'search Mama Tee Kitchen on Instagram'.
Where people use Kreyta voiceovers
Radio style ads for a shop opening. Narration for a product video. A Pidgin voice for a market announcement played on a speaker. Explainer audio for a lesson. A Hausa version of an English ad for customers in Kano. Once you have the audio you can put it under a video, take it into Kreyta Editor, or download it as a file and use it anywhere.

Questions and answers
How is a voiceover priced?
Per started minute of speech, counted from the script that is sent. You see the cost in credits before you make it. 1 credit is about N1,500 on the cheapest pack, and new accounts get 3 free credits once.
Can it write the script for me?
Yes. Write it for me is free. Give your idea and a length, then edit the script before it is voiced.
Does it really sound Nigerian?
The Nigerian voices were chosen for Nigerian English, Pidgin, Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa, with a Nigerian accent. Play the samples and judge for yourself before you spend anything.
Can I use the voiceover in a video?
Yes. Use it under a Kreyta video, add it in Kreyta Editor, or download the audio and use it in any app.
What if it says a name wrong?
Add the word to Pronunciations with how it should sound, for example 'Ikoyi = ee-KOY-ee'. Save it to your brand and every future voiceover gets it right.
